dry-run protection and smart refilling

The myCistern Control Unit reliably protects your cistern pumps from dangerous dry running and thus from damage. If necessary, the system automatically supplies water from an alternative source to ensure continuous operation. To use the water refill system, the separately available refill device or refill device Pro as well as a drinking water supply line or an approved well are required.

myCistern Refill Device Flex – The perfect addition for long-term reliability with even easier installation

With the aim of simplifying installation even further, the Pro version of our myCistern refill device stands out by using a flexible HT hose instead of the traditional HT angle.

Simplified assembly

The use of a hose instead of a fixed connection pipe makes the installation of the myCistern refill device Pro even easier. The innovative design allows for more flexible installation in different environments and ensures trouble-free integration of the refill device.

Easy commissioning

The refill device is directly compatible with the myCistern Control Unit. The bracket is attached to the wall and the included 5-meter-long cable is plugged into one of the four switching outputs on the Control Unit. The refill device can then be configured in our app.

No level switch required thanks to innovative level measurement

Our refill device is controlled by the control unit and therefore does not require a level switch . The minimum fill level that should be maintained using the refill device is set directly via our app and can be varied in 5% increments.

In order to achieve maximum flexibility, we have opted for 230 V AC, i.e. the same voltage as a household socket, as the voltage for the switched outputs. For experienced irrigation technicians, this may seem a little strange at first glance, considering that the outputs are also intended to switch solenoid valves. Although there are numerous 230 V solenoid valves, unfortunately it is not the standard. The crucial point here is the " also " - it is not just solenoid valves that are intended to be switched. Although there are certain components such as the extraction pump in most cisterns, every system is basically different. One user may operate a time-controlled ornamental fountain, another may want to water in 3 zones, and yet another does not fill their cistern using a controlled solenoid valve, but switches on their well pump to refill.

You can already see that packing all these diverse requirements into a control system is no easy task. And if you then go an additional step and set the goal that as many people as possible should be able to operate the control system without any great technical knowledge, then it becomes even more difficult.
